Full Throttle MC
For District 38 Desert Racing
Welcome
Welcome to the site of Full Throttle Motorcycle Club.  We are a group of riders racing in the Southwest United States
and Baja California, Mexico.  Our group has formed to provide support to fellow racers, promote races and give a little
back to the sport of Desert Racing.
BLM News
It's gotten down to the point that the BLM now requires all race courses to be surveyed for archaeological artifacts
significant enough to be placed on the national historical register.  Although current finds mare seem insignificant to
you and I.  They are of great importance to others.  Some courses were previously surveyed and that's what IV racing
used for their last race. . . but for the most part, they are car tracks that were used in the old Superstition Series (now
the MDR car series).  The District has formed a group to compile a set of courses for the first half of the season which
will be presented to the BLM for review.  The courses are not all surveyed and we are now trying to find a way to finance
the project which will ultimately be funded through rider surcharges.

BLM Meeting
Renee, Jesse, George and
Bud attended a meeting
with the BLM this past
week that dealt mainly with
permitting, violations and
public relations.  We did
find out that the new law
regarding kids that are not
big enough to operate the
OHV they are riding will be
brought back to camp and
the parents cited after the
first of the year.  The BLM
noted that most of their
staff are rookies and it will
take time for them to figure
out who is who and what to
look for.  They also said the
door is open and they will
work with D-38 to provide a
less confrontational
approach.
Full Throttle 100
Course is submitted and
approved, permits have
been applied for and things
are coming together for our
February race at the Dip.
We'll start working on the
Course Tuesday prior to
the race and welcome any
help.

Increase yearly D-38 Membership Fee to $30.00
Impose a $10.00 BLM surcharge to cover cost of race course surveys.
New, standardized starts with Exp & Am bikes on the 1st line, Exp & Am quads on the 2nd, Nov & Beg bikes
on the third & Nov & Beg quads on the fourth.
Eliminate the four stroke class and absorb the bikes into the Open Class.
Split the Quads into two classes, Open and Vet (over 30 years of age).
You may now work two races a year and receive 2nd place finisher points.
Scoring will be based on 100 pts this year with 1st=100, 2nd=90, 3rd=81, 4th=73, 5th=66, 6th=60, 7th=55,
8th=51, 9th=48, 10th=46, 11=45, 12=44, 13=43, 14=42, 15=41 etc.
You will be able to throw out 20% of your races this year and with a 16 race schedule that equates to three
